Obviously, things hit their peak tomorrow and friday; we'll be working as tellers and involved in activities at the local count. Exciting, innit. After that we'll be transitioning our sites down from Full ON War Setting to post-GE2015 Green activities...
After that, maybe some posts and words inbetween scripting a new series.
I knew I'd be kicking myself if I didn't get involved this time round. It's been a helluva experience! We've seen our support grow in recent months, have gone from being a marginal group of no-hopers to actually putting the wind up the major parties. Looking back on last night and the hustings in Yeovil, it was, well pretty exciting to be in the thick of it all. I'm amazed and proud of what we've achieved. In the last few weeks / months, I've met some terrific and interesting people, made some great new friends and learned a whole bunch of new stuff. It was a shaky start, but I can't believe how we've self-organised the way we have - of course we've had 3 or 4 experienced hands guiding us, but hey...
I'm glad I took the time to put something back into my home town, to try and start making it... better in some way.
You're all sick of hearing about the election, I know. So all I'm gonna say is:
If you live in the Yeovil constituency area, please consider voting for the Green candidate, Emily McIvor. She's brilliant.
If you live out Frome / Somerton / Bruton way, please consider voting for for the Green candidate,Theo Simon. He's great as well. I went to school with him.
If you live out Taunton way please consider voting Green or TUSC.
