"Infected People": Start: UK Bass with one leg chopped off. (Phantom Drum Syndrome). Whiplash // martial riddim. Again, engine-like; dancefloor rolling-stock. Chuggachug inna Dalston, bruv. 'Ardkore flashback in the breakdown.
"The Box": Tape-flutter Moroder. Muffled wah-wow. Acid House ten years too early. 1978 film cue. Caged Women OST. Or, Bronx Zombies.
"Between Two Stations": Fuckin' BASS on that!!
Snazzzy cover. Soundwise, niiiice. Mercifully bereft of digital 'crispness', of brittle CD-era shininess. *spits* Getoverit, Late-Eighties Kids. Like the way that there's a surfeit of ideas, but it never gets overcrowded; NCHX takes an additive-subtractive route; loops and sounds build in grimy layers while others are lost through burial or erosion. Tape, tape, tape.
Yes, I listened to the the other three sides. Did you?
No? Then, here.
