FUTURE SCREENS ARE MOSTLY BLUE

Some of this is bleedin' / blindingly obvious (It used to be called Science Fiction, innit-- nowadays, though, s'just as likely to be referred to as Design Fiction, Architectural Fiction, Infrastructural Fiction, et cetera (though, having said that, the taken-for-granted triangulationship between SF / Design / Tech Development can get derailed / knocked off-course for all sorts of banal, physical-legal reasons, plus: let's not forget the idea of Red Herring Futures aka "Where's my jetback, dude?"))

But some of it is kinda beautifully bonkers in its OCDish attention to detail:

"To give you a sense of how exhaustive their research is in this field, take note that the lesson above–future screens are mostly blue–was determined empirically. Shedroff and Noessel catalogued virtually every interface from every sci-fi movie from 1968 through 2011 and determined an average color per year."
