Anyone who's followed me over the last few years (Hi, Mum! - oh, wait, you're dead... ) will know I has Big Love for Turner Cody... Jeez, is this really 13, 14 years old? Kinda sums up how I feel now. Pre-Cog singer-songer-writer-er.
"Evening-glasses on to ask her name / On the run are men in trouble, not to old to bow..."
My life in a nutshell, now.
Him and James Toth, all the way!
Good job I bought that stapler yesterday (see: a couple posts back, if you're still awake; they are pretty exciting full-on posts, i know...), as today has seen some unexpected HARDCORE CONTRACT ACTION, and the stapler has joined me in Administrative Battle!
It's almost like it... knew.
"Welcome aboard, Lil Stapler! Look out -- loose sheafs...!"
"I got it, boss."
When I woke up I was dreaming that I'd found away through the walls -- barriers -- that separate universes, that they were formulae or signs that could allow you to travel between different dimensions.
But as I woke up, a loud jet went over our town -- a thunder-loud boom -- and for 3 or 4 seconds I honestly thought the walls between universes were collapsing because of something I'd done.
Low-mood morning, but survivable.
The high spot of today? Honestly?
Buying a £2 stapler.
My own has disappeared from my office - half-inched by one of the kids and long-gone AWOL - but I needed one earlier this week and couldn't find one. This one didn't have any staples so I had to go back and buy some for a quid.
Nothing much else to report.
My youngest daughter emailed me this link, saying, "I hope you find this interesting and informative."
"Then perhaps others might find it interesting too."
